Biography

My passion is business and community-building centered around cryptocurrencies and decentralized & disruptive technology spaces. Co-founder of the Ethereum Project and KryptoKit; a founding member, Executive Director & Board member of the Bitcoin Alliance of Canada (BAC); founder of Toronto Bitcoin Meet-up; and founder of Decentral, located in the downtown Toronto, Canada. Decentral is a co-work/incubator/event space and home to tech start-ups and innovative entrepreneurs that focus on disruptive and decentralized technologies. I believe that bitcoin and related decentralized technologies will form a significant part of our global economic, political, and social future. To help realize this end, I aim to promote and develop decentralized technologies. Before becoming involved in decentralized technology, I was a business owner, investor, and entrepreneur. I was involved in a variety of technical and creative projects in emerging technology fields.
